introduce My site
My site is located in RMIT, surrounded by three buildings. Two aisle pass through the building, one aisle below the building.
SITE ANALYSIS
Limitations: Small site, low activity.
Positives: A lot of things can develop in this site. Not many people use triangle lawn.
DATA COLLECTION
I collected data 3 times to avoid biases exist. To identify student or others, I used visual inspection, based on age and dress.
DATA VISUALIZATION
MORE ABOUT DATA
Influencing factor: weather, temperature, final, bin.
Clean data: went to different weather, temperature.
GAME
GAME MECHANICS: Goal, competition, mobility.
DRAWING ENEMY
TEST CUT
GAME BACKGROUND
I tested game, but the robot is dim and loses a lot of details. Especially when I projected on the big screen, the robots can not see very clearly.
So I change game character to the emoji, which have simple geometry shape and it is open source.
Cut the face is not a good idea in the public space. I changed when cutting the sad, angry and frustrated face to happy.
INTERACTION 1st
In the first time, I found a lot of questions. My site is brighter than I think, The game that projecting is dim.
I tried projecting on the chair, which is better, but I still want projecting on the wall.
INTERACTION 2st
Between these days, I used Touch-designer make some new things. I don’t want people just play one game and leave.
INTERACTION 2st VIDEO
INTERACTION 3st
During the interaction 2, some pedestrians do not take the initiative to play, they see projection and go away. I'm trying to make more directly. People will attract in. I'm thinking a design that pedestrians body mapping on the chair.
Also because the power cable is not long enough, I can only project on the corner. In this time, I plan project on the bigger size.
INTERACTION 3st VIDEO
I brought long enough cable, finally, I projected my game in big size.
